Chicago rapper, G Herbo, and fiancé, Taina Williams, grace the cover of Alpha Magazine as “Power Couple of the Month” and honestly, are there any other better contenders? Taina Williams is an Instagram influencer, her mother is Emily Bustamante (Emily B from Love & Hip Hop), and her stepfather is the rapper Fabolous.
G Herbo had slipped up; not only did we find out that this couple is expecting, but they’re also expecting a boy via his Instagram! January 1st, they made the official announcement with a black and white picture of G Herbo kissing Taina’s belly. Preparing for the bundle of joy that will bless their lives in just a few months, G Herbo and Taina Williams are in the middle of building their home together.
Herbo and Williams opened up to Alpha Magazine about their growing family, their tribe, their relationship and this new journey they are embarking on. This couple have been with each other for over two years now and in that time have faced some challenges. G Herbo has recently pleaded “not guilty” to his involvement in a $1.5 million dollar fraudulent scheme in Massachusetts and is facing up to six years in prison if convicted on two counts of aiding and abetting aggravated identity theft and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
As if that wasn’t enough, the couple had to defend their relationship timeline this week on social media. Rest assured, however, that what Taina was accused of, is not in her character. During a podcast episode of “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” G Herbo continued to express his disdain for women who carry themselves in a certain manner and appreciates a classy woman who can hold up her end of a relationship.
While this pair faces extraordinary obstacles, their love for one another drowns out the noise. They continue to express just exactly what it takes to have a successful relationship, and their top advice: “Happiness is made at home.” Hoping for men and women to look within their own home for the joys of life, G Herbo and Taina share their motto, “grow together, build together, stay together” emphasizing that commitment to each other and their own families is what matters most in successful relationships. As Taina expressed of Chicago rapper G Herbo,
“Happiness is an understatement for the joy that we feel and the light that you’ve already brung upon us. God knows I prayed for you. The journey is never easy but the story is always amazing to tell.”
Gushing over his love, Taina, G Herbo had explained what it is that he loves about the leading woman in his life during the podcast “Million Dollaz Worth of Game”:
“I ain’t go lie, to be honest, I feel like, I really feel like opposites attract in a way. I ain’t never really—she just pure, through and through. You know what I’m sayin’? She not afraid to like, express her feelings, tell me how she feel about stuff. Even when it’s like, I don’t understand it all the time, she’ll tell me something where I feel like she kinda like, dissin’ me a little bit. But she really ain’t, she tellin’ me something that really build me. She really makes me feel like a man, like complete. I’m at comfort when I’m at the crib. She take care of home. If I ain’t have no girl, bro, I’d be really livin’ like, crazy. I probably wouldn’t have no furniture at my crib.”
