What a time to be alive! Drake, four-time Grammy winner and OVO head honcho multi-platinum selling artist, has announced his long-awaited return to the stage. Alongside fellow friend and frequent collaborator 21 Savage! After months of speculation, Drake and 21 Savage have confirmed that they will be hitting the road for their It's All A Blur Tour this summer. The aforementioned announcement was made on Instagram Monday March 13th, sharing a cinematic trailer of his meteoric rise to fame.
The huge 2023 arena announcement tour of North America dubbed ‘It’s All A Blur Tour’ will consist of a 29-city stadium tour kicking off at the beginning of the summer. Jump starting June 16th in New Orleans with four dates in New York – two at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and two at Manhattan’s Madison Square Garden – will then follow before wrapping up in Arizona on September 15th. In the meantime, they will be making stops in most of the major musical hubs including Houston, Miami, Chicago, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. Additionally, Drake and 21 will also pay a visit to Drizzy's hometown of Toronto, though exact dates have yet to be announced.
This is the first time Drake is returning to the road since the Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour in 2018. The tour follows Drake and 21 Savage's collaborative album Her Loss, which debuted in November 2022 at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. In fact, back in January, Drake teased it during a career-spanning SiriusXM concert at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York City.
The tour title, a celebration of the last decade, showcases Drake's sentiments about the unprecedented run as he prepares to hit the road. Remaining relevant, Drake has released four albums in the last five years. Including his most recent studio collaborative album Her Loss in with 21 Savage, which had all 16 songs debut on Billboard's Hot 100 list as well. Sure to serenade fans with his slew of sizzling singles while on tour, fans are eager to see what’s to be expected.
