Ciara is continuing her empowering musical movement with more motivational vibes for the ladies! The release of the trendy track brought up a lot of backlash but the talent and message moved mountains regardless. “Da Girls” serves as the latest taste of new music set to line Ci-Ci’s yet-titled, forthcoming eighth studio album. Courtesy of Ciara's Beauty Marks Entertainment the original version of the Derrick Milano, OG Parker, Romano, tenroc, and Mike Woods -produced record was released on March 24th. Additionally, it was preceded by the 2022 blazing bangers “Jump” and “Better Thangs” featuring Summer Walker.


A week after learning that her latest single, “Da Girls” skyrocketed on the R&B Digital sales chart, Ciara is hoping to hoist it to even higher Billboard heights with the help of leading lady lyricists, Lady London and Lola Brooke. The "Da Girls" (Girl Mix) remix begins with the original infectious intro, before Brooke, the Brooklyn gator, brings her boastful, hard-hitting bars for the first verse. And don’t play with it — because Lola Brooke is on the remix and is ready to run it up!



Da Ladies Are Leading The Empowerment Movement


Following up the flavorful fierce verse of Lola, London launches her monumental yet motivational lyrical prowess in verse two. She shares the uplifting message for all Da Girls:


“If you question your why and are feeling defeated, look in the mirror and repeat after me / I am humongous / I am resourceful / I am much better than ever could be.”

Closing out the creative collaboration, Ciara’s original rap-like verse surfaces in the third verse. Regarding her new collaboration, Ciara goes on to share her thoughts surrounding the sizzling stars and explains:


Lola and Lady London are special. They each bring a unique star quality to everything they do. From the tone of their voices to the fire verses, they spoke life into this record for all da girls around the world”.

The trio of fiery femcees take the women's empowerment anthem to the next level with their refreshed takes. Alongside an updated music video, enlisting the two fierce femcees for the raved record’s official empowering remix. Accompanying the astounding audio, “Da Girls (Girls Mix)” arrives with an accompanying visual. Regarding the Sara Lacombe-directed video, Ciara shared:


“I wanted an all-female team for this video to capture the energy and joy of when girls come together and have a good time. This is how I am with MY girls”.

In fact, Ciara first teased the trailblazing remix in an Instagram post back on March 28th. In doing so, she showed snippets of each artist performing their verse. Then, she went on to caption the post as follows.


“@Lola.Brooke and @LadyLondon you are pure fire! An inspiration to all!!! Keep gettin the bag Queens!!!”.
