According to Walter Wallace Jr.’s family, police was aware of his mental health



According to Walter Wallace Jr.’s family, they called for an ambulance and not police when he was dealing with a mental health crisis, their lawyers revealed on Tuesday (Oct. 27). Catherine and Walter Sr. stated that the police were well aware that their son suffered from mental illness, as they were sent to their family’s house thrice on the same day. During one such time, it has been revealed that the cops stood there and laughed at them. According to police, Walter approached them holding a knife when they came to the house Monday afternoon (Oct. 26). A video emerged wherein officers can be seen firing at the 27-year-old many times.
